Parent Group Counseling Q&A Session
Duration: 90 Minutes
- Welcome and Introduction (10 minutes)
- Brief welcome by the facilitator
- Overview of the session goals
- Discussion Topic 1: Parenting Strategies (20 minutes)
- Key strategies for effective parenting
- Open floor for questions and personal experiences
- Discussion Topic 2: Managing Stress (20 minutes)
- Tips on recognizing and coping with parenting stress
- Group sharing of coping techniques
- Discussion Topic 3: Communication with Children (20 minutes)
- Techniques for improving communication
- Modeling scenarios to practice conversation starters
- Discussion Topic 4: Social Media and Mental Health (20 minutes)
- Psychoeducation on pros and cons of social media
- Open Q&A Session (15 minutes)
- Allow parents to ask any lingering questions not covered
