“Harvesting the Frontiers of Your Limits”
Based on

Did you know that the constant people pleasing can have negative effects on your health and relationships?
Experiential Workshop to learn the difference between boundaries and requests and how to express your limits. Explore the empowerment of setting limits, the power of negotiating, and being true to yourself while maintaining healthy relationships with others. Limits are the things we all know we need, but we struggle so hard to define and set them. How often have we found ourselves saying “yes” or “sure” when we really wanted to say no?
How many times do we struggle even to notice what we want? Our lack of knowing makes it even harder to communicate those lovely limits. In life, we learn to disconnect from ourselves, our bodies, our intuition, and our boundaries. As children, we are encouraged to hug others when we do not want to. Or to continue eating for a happy plate even though it denies the fullness of our bellies. As adults, we learn to continue to disconnect from our bodies’ communication.
Limits, through requests and boundaries, are essential to healthy relationships, protecting us against resentment towards others and anxiety within ourselves. Learning how to make kind, direct, and true requests and boundaries is the path to more authentic relationships with ourselves and others. As we navigate life, no matter what stage you are in, give yourself the gift of time, self-exploration, and growth.
The goal of this 4-hour Workshop is to help you discover more about yourself and how to communicate limits effectively. Learn what a boundary, a request, and an ultimatum are and how to tell the difference. Through this self-discovery, you can become more confident and comfortable understanding your limits and feel more capable of using boundary communication strategies. Through playful exercises in a container of safe exploration with a group, you can learn more about Yourself to help you show up more authentically in your relationships.
