Style and Approach
Transition and change can be challenging and anxiety producing. I am trained to work with individuals who experience difficulties adjusting to new circumstances. Having lived in different countries, along with experiencing different languages and cultures, I am extremely familiar with the struggles associated with transition. I am specialized in working with individuals who desire a healthy lifestyle, as well as individuals who face difficulties such as loss, relationship issues, and stage-of-life changes.
My work is focused on identifying personal strengths and resilience because I believe that this is fundamental to overcoming setbacks, disappointments, and failures which occur at some point in our lives. My specialty includes issues related to adjustment disorder, post partum depression, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and substance abuse. My work also addresses issues related to parenting, relationship problems, self-esteem, and eating disorders. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and supportive.
